Travel

Ample FREE off street parking for cars and buses. The Tesselaar Gardens (home of the Tesselaar Tulip Festival) are event friendly. Clean public toilets with disabled facilities are available.

The best way to get to the Tesselaar Gardens is to get a group of family and friends together and take a scenic drive through the Dandenong Ranges.

You can make it to the the Tesselaar Gardens in four easy turns (once you are on the Eastern Freeway). This is the most direct route:

  1. Take Eastern Freeway to the end and turn right into Springvale Road.
  2. Follow Springvale Road over Maroondah Hwy (Whitehorse Rd) until Canturbury road. Turn left into Canturbury Road at the traffic lights.
  3. Follow Canturbury Road (for about 20-30 minutes) until York Road. Turn right into York Road at the roundabout.
  4. Follow York Road until the roundabout at the top of the hill in Mt Evelyn. Turn right into Monbulk Road.
  5. Follow Monbulk Road straight ahead through the next set of traffic lights, all the way to the the Tesselaar Gardens in Silvan. When you see the Tulip signs, you know you have reach your destination.
